3 Juicing Recipes for Endometriosis
Below you’ll find 3 juicing recipes for endometriosis. I’ve also listed why each of the juices is special for managing endo symptoms:
1. Powerful Pain-Fighting Pineapple Juice
This endo juice has pain-fighting action courtesy of pineapple, ginger and turmeric.
Pineapple contains bromelain which seems to cause the body to produce substances that fight pain and swelling.
Meanwhile, ginger and turmeric are both spices that have natural analgesic properties that make them effective for pain.
The reason I’ve added black pepper powder is because research has shown that it increases the bioavailability and nutrient absorption of turmeric by ten-fold. We don’t want to miss out on that! You can barely even taste it in the juice.
So, here’s the easy but powerful recipe:
What you need
- 1 cup fresh pineapple
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 cup coconut water
- ½-inch ginger
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 1 pinch black pepper powder
Directions
- Wash all your fresh produce well.
- Into a high quality juicer , add 1 cup of freshly chopped pineapple (frozen can also work).
- Next add 2 celery stalks and ½ inch of ginger.
- Let your juicer run and collect all the juice squeezed.
- Into your freshly made juice, add 1 cup coconut water, ½ tsp turmeric powder and just a pinch of black pepper powder.
- Mix everything up and enjoy with a straw!
2. Anti-inflammatory Red Juice
Next up is this anti-inflammatory juice which has a lovely deep crimson color.
That’s because it’s filled with beets which are supportive veggies for endometriosis.
Beets help facilitate liver’s detoxification process, are filled with antioxidants that stave off oxygen-stealing free radicals, help reduce inflammation and last but not least, feed the body with the much-needed nutrient : folate.
This juice also contains carrots rich in beta carotene, apples that contain essential vitamins and minerals, cucumber which is a water-rich refreshing veggie, ginger which is a powerful anti-inflammatory spice and lastly, lemon juice which is cleansing & alkalizing to the whole body.
