Vitamin E is known as the beauty vitamin in the world of natural skin and hair care. One of its benefits is promoting healthy lush hair growth! Find out how to make a DIY Vitamin E Hair Serum for Hair Growth in this post!
Without wasting any time, let me go through the benefits of this Vitamin E hair serum by showing you each ingredient and what makes it magical for hair growth!
Benefits of this Vitamin E Hair Serum
💛 Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil is rich in powerful antioxidants that protect the hair from oxidative damage. Oxidative damage from environmental toxins and harsh sunlight can cause hair to become weak, lack-luster and develop premature gray hairs. Vitamin E also stimulates blood circulation in the scalp which helps nourish hair follicles and foster the growth of strong long hairs.
💛 Castor Oil
An oil with a thick consistency, castor oil is purported to be one of the best oils for hair growth. It contains key hair growth ingredients such as ricinoleic acid and omega 6 fatty acids which accelerate blood flow to the scalp and nourish hair follicles. Castor oil also helps reduce hormone-related hair loss issues in women and men.
💛 Argan and Almond Oils
These two oils are also great for your scalp and hair! Argan oil in particular, is excellent for repairing damaged and dehydrated hair. Almond oil is great for combating a dry and flaky scalp and also strengthening weak and brittle hair. Both these oils are also filled with Vitamin E, whose benefits we have already seen above.
💛 Rosemary Essential Oil
Rosemary as a herb is popular for its benefits in hair care. As an essential oil, it’s hair growth properties are enhanced by miles! It is packed with antioxidants that help fight off oxygen-scavenging free radicals that are responsible for greying and thinning of hair. It’s also a great remedy for those with dandruff, itchy scalp and oily hair.
💛 Rose Essential Oil
To me, rose essential oil is one of the elite beauty essential oils. It’s not just its beautiful rosy scent that keeps me captivated.
I’ve also noticed that rose essential oil is great for hydrating the scalp and hair.
It balances the oil secretion of the sebaceous glands located in the skin and scalp which makes it equally beneficial for both dry and oily scalps.
Rose essential oil helps protect your hair from the heat of a blow dryer and other hair tools like the curling wand and hair straightener, thereby preventing heat damage.
Don’t forget that this luxury essential oil also has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory action that targets dandruff, eczema, psoriasis and other bacterial, fungal infections that may be affecting the scalp.
💛 Tea Tree Essential Oil
Last but not least in this DIY vitamin E hair serum is tea tree essential oil!
It is well known for its antibacterial, antiseptic and antioxidant properties that help many scalp problems including irritation, itchiness, dandruff, inflammation and more.
By solving these issues, it ensures the growth of a healthy head of luscious hair.
