Benefits Of the Ingredients in this Coconut Milk Hair Mask
Below are the ingredients that make this coconut milk hair mask special and the benefits of each!
💓 Coconut Milk
The superstar in this hair mask, coconut milk is derived from the white flesh inside raw coconuts.
It contains a natural fatty acid profile that has a deep moisturizing effect. This can restore both dry hair and scalp as well as repair damaged hair strands.
Coconut milk can also boost hair growth but what it does best is make your hair appear silky, smooth, soft and shiny!
💓 Castor Oil
What’s known is that castor oil is a big hair growth promoter, but it’s also great for strengthening and repairing damaged hair. It fills in the damaged gaps in the hair shaft and also increases the tensile strength of hair, making it less prone to splitting and breakage.
It also protects and restores worn down hair cuticles which makes hair appear smooth and shiny.
The fatty acids in castor oil form a protective layer that protects your hair from heat damage and premature greying.
Castor oil also has antifungal, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties that keep the scalp healthy and treat scalp conditions like dandruff, irritation and inflammation.
💓 Raw Honey
Raw honey seals moisture in your hair, keeping it hydrated and conditioned. Dry brittle hair is easily susceptible to split ends and hair breakage. By keeping hair moisturized, honey strengthens the strands.
It also has antioxidant and antibacterial properties that keep the scalp healthy, which generally aids in the growth of healthy, soft and shiny locks.
