One of the greatest secrets for hair growth is rosemary hair rinses. I use one every week without fail to keep my hair growing thick long and luscious.
Rosemary is a popular medicinal herb, native to the Mediterranean region as well as Portugal and Spain. Its leaves contain beneficial compounds for hair growth such rosmarinic acid, ursolic acid, carnosic acid and eucalyptol which have the following benefits for hair growth:
- Increase blood circulation in the scalp with their scalp stimulating properties
- Work at the cellular level to block DHT, which is a main culprit that is linked to hair thinning and loss
- Have anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe inflammation and reduce scalp irritation
- Help heal nerve and tissue damage, which can rejuvenate scalp nerves and promote hair growth
- Has antioxidant qualities that prevent hair damage and boost scalp health
All these qualities work in synergy to improve scalp health, leading to the formation of thicker, longer and luscious hair!

Cloves also have anti-inflammatory compounds like eugenol and gallic acid that which help reduce scalp inflammation and keep the scalp healthy, fostering good hair growth. The antifungal properties of cloves make it perfect for warding off scalp fungal infections like dandruff.
