Who is Aphrodite?
Aphrodite is the Olympian goddess of all forms of love, beauty, passion, desire & pleasure among others, according to Greek Mythology.
Some of her symbols include roses, shells, pearls, swans, mirrors, doves, daffodils, pink & red objects, dried flowers and more.
This goddess is not all about romance and lust. She is the epitome of all forms of love especially SELF LOVE.
Aphrodite appreciates what her body does for her. Depriving herself by not getting enough sleep, eating fresh foods, looking unpresentable all the time or not having time for pleasure or play is NOT in Aphrodite’s book.
She takes care of her appearance, by showing herself self-love physically, mentally and spiritually.
Some of the things to do to take care of physical appearance is to shower daily, smell good, comb your hair neatly, wear comfortable clothes and don’t forget to accessorize.
By looking nice on the outside, we can show up as happier and naturally more beautiful human beings.
How to Make an Aphrodite’s Beauty Spell Bowl
An Aphrodite’s beauty spell bowl can be made by anyone who wants to love themselves more.
It’s a fun way to manifest a more beautiful you, inside and out. It can also be a form of self-love therapy! Say beauty affirmations while making the bowl to enhance what you want to make more attractive about you.
I’ll be sharing different ways to make an Aphrodite’s beauty spell bowl using different ingredients. Remember, intentions are what matter the most, so if you don’t have specific ingredients, don’t worry at all. You can substitute them with what you have!
The default tools you will need for these spell bowls include a bowl, a mirror, water, smoke cleanse using incense, smudge stick, selenite wand, etc. The bowl holds the mirror for gazing into your reflection and it also carries the water, which amplifies your intention.
I prefer using moon water because it represents the beauty and glow of the moon, an ethereal and celestial beauty in our galaxy. Full moon water is extra special because it infuses the full power and radiant energy of the moon at its truest glory. Spring or filtered water is also okay to use!
A mirror is needed for looking into it, and gazing at your outer appearance and coming to appreciate it while manifesting what you want to enhance about your features, for example glowing clear skin, smoother softer lips, etc. You can use a round mirror so it fits snug into the bowl but a small handheld or pocket mirror can also work! As long as you can see your reflection in it, you can even use a silver spoon! 😀
Before beginning your beauty spell, you need to cleanse your space. You can use an incense stick, smudge stick or even a selenite crystal! Heck, you can even use your mind to imagine pure white light radiating into the bowl to purify it.

This is one of my most beloved & first recipe that I make when I’m feeling body dysmorphia or ‘ugly.’
For this beauty spell bowl recipe, you will need the following ingredients & I’ll list why they are to be used as well:
💖 Rose quartz crystal – You also will need a rose quartz crystal and a heart shaped one is preferred because heart shaped crystals represent love, acceptance, empathy and good feelings.
💖 Chamomile flowers – Chamomile represents peace and calm, acceptance, joy, love and prosperity. You can use dried or fresh rose or chamomile flowers.
💖 Rose petals – Roses are one of the foremost symbols of Aphrodite. They are not only so precious and beautiful to look at but also smell so beautiful! They represent love, hope, beauty, passion and femininity. You can use fresh or dried rose petals. Red & pink roses are preferred but any color such as white, yellow or orange roses can work too of course.
💖 Incense stick – A rose/cinnamon scented incense would be perfect for cleansing your space before beginning your Aphrodite beauty spell. This is because rose and cinnamon are associated with love, beauty, passion, abundance and are Aphrodite’s symbols as well.
💖 Cinnamon stick – Cinnamon is known to attract abundance fast. Stir your beauty bowl using a cinnamon stick to bring your desires to fruition quickly!
What you need
- Rose quartz crystal *preferable heart shape
- Chamomile flowers
- Moon water
- Rose petals
- Incense stick (preferably rose or cinnamon scented)
- Cinnamon stick
- Large bowl
- Mirror
Directions
- Place a large bowl on a table.
- Cleanse it with rose incense, while going clockwise.
- Place a mirror at the bottom of the bowl.
- Pour in full moon water.
- Place a rose quartz crystal for self-love and clear glowing skin.
- Next sprinkle chamomile flowers for peace, acceptance, love & prosperity.
- Add rose petals for passion & love so you can enjoy and embrace your beauty fully.
- Stir the contents of the bowl clockwise with a cinnamon stick to set intentions, bring forth good luck and quick results.
- Look into the mirror and tell it what you want to see!
- Keep the bowl on your vanity or table in your bedroom (such as the bedside table) for a day. You can add to it your bath or discard in your garden.

This is another simple beauty spell where we shall be adding more herbs/flowers to make things more powerful with deeper intentions. Here are some of the ingredients you will be needing:
💖 Rose quartz crystal – You also will need a rose quartz crystal to represent unconditional love and beauty.
💖 Chamomile flowers – Chamomile is added for prosperity and acceptance. Use fresh or dried chamomile. You can also use the contents of a chamomile tea bag!
💖 Rose petals – Roses are a must in any Aphrodite spell or beauty bowl! You can pluck petals from a fresh rose if you have a rose bush in your garden, or use dried rose petals/flower buds you can get online or any herb shop. Any color roses will do, whether it’s red, pink, white, yellow or even orange!
💖 Lavender – This beautiful purple herb has such a calming and relaxing scent. I use it every night in my sleep tea blend. Adding it to your beauty spell helps you accept and make peace with your self which deepens your self love!
💖 Rosemary – Rosemary is THE herb when it comes to any spell. It is so versatile and can be substituted for any herb you don’t have at that moment. I LOVE the smell of rosemary, just so fresh, clean and almost minty. Rosemary is know for powerful purification and cleansing. It also helps in bringing in positive energy and attracting good things to yourself!
💖 Jasmine – These gorgeous tiny white flowers that smell like they’re from Paradise itself are well-known aphrodisiacs and a femininity boosting flower. They can help boost your confidence, allure and charm. You can use fresh jasmine flowers or dried or even jasmine essential oil, if you can’t find the flowers!
💖 Smudge stick or incense – You can use a smudge stick made of lavender/sage/juniper/eucalyptus/bay leaves/rosemary/vetiver or any fragrant grass or flowers! Incense sticks can also be used! It’s best to use a flowery one like rose, lavender, lily and lotus, etc.

- Fresh or dried jasmine flowers

- Cinnamon stick
- Moon water
- Large bowl & spoon
- Mirror
Directions
- Place a large bowl on a table.
- Cleanse it with a smudge stick, while going clockwise to bring in positive energy.
- Place a mirror at the bottom of the bowl.
- Pour in moon water.
- Now add rose petals, chamomile, a rose quartz crystal, lavender for harmony and purification, jasmine for confidence and calmness and rosemary for cleansing and attraction.
- Stir the content of the bowl using a spoon clockwise to set intentions.
- Take deep breaths and manifest while looking into the mirror and telling it what you want to see.

This is a quick mini beauty spell bowl I did and I really love it! It uses red rose, white rose, lavender, rosemary and jasmine as the herbs! As usual, don’t forget to add moon water and a rose quartz crystal!
Here are some of the benefits of each:
💖 Red rose – Roses amplify love, romance and beauty. You’ll manifest all these while you sprinkle them in your beauty bowl!
💖 White rose – White roses represent purity and innocence. Add them to show kindness towards your existing appearance. Remember self love and acceptance is the key to positive change!
💖 Rosemary – This is the most versatile herb and the best protection herb out there! Sprinkle it to protect your natural beauty forever! This is to shield your body as you don’t want to contort your existing features in any way either through a botched surgery or accident, etc.
💖 Lavender – These purifying calm flowers help bring harmony and acceptance to your beauty, so you can love yourself the way you were and that’s when the spell can work in your favor. Hating your features doesn’t help the spell work properly.
💖 Jasmine – Gorgeous smelling jasmine flowers are used to increase confidence, charm and allure. You can use the essential oil of jasmine if you can’t find fresh or dried flowers.
💖 Rose incense – Use rose incense to represent beauty and self love!
💖 Cinnamon stick – Stirring your beauty bowl with a cinnamon stick helps speeden your manifestation!

- Fresh or dried rosemary or its essential oil
- Fresh or dried lavender or its essential oil
- Fresh or dried jasmine flower or its essential oil

- Mirror
- Full moon water

- Cleanse your bowl with rose incense 3 times going clockwise to bring in positivity.
- Place a small mirror in your bowl.
- Pour in moon water.
- Place a rose quartz crystal on top of the mirror.
- Ad red rose petals for self love.
- Add white rose petals to show kindness to your existing appearance.
- Lavender for harmony and self acceptance.
- Jasmine for confidence and charm.
- Rosemary to protect your natural beauty forever.
- Use a cinnamon stick to stir the bowl going clockwise.
- Look into the mirror and tell it what you want to see.
