Start your mornings right, sipping this liver cleanse drink with apple cider vinegar!
Is Apple Cider Vinegar Good for the Liver?
The answer is yes!
That’s the whole point of this article anyway, hehe!
Apple cider vinegar does tons of good for your liver.
The liver is one of the most important organs inside our bodies.
It is located in the upper right-hand portion of the abdominal cavity, beneath the diaphragm and above the stomach, right kidney and intestines.
One of the key functions of the liver is detoxification. That’s right – all the toxins, wastes and harmful substances in your blood is filtered and broken down by the liver.
These wastes are then transported to elimination sites such as the bowels where they are expelled out of our bodies.
The liver also has other functions including manufacturing proteins, metabolizing fats, storing essential nutrients needed by the body and producing bile which aids in digestion of food.
Sometimes, due to excessive alcohol consumption, substance drug abuse, taking too many medications and other lifestyle habits, the liver can get sluggish and be in poor working condition.
Granted, your liver detoxes on its own but it doesn’t hurt to incorporate healthy habits and remedies to boost its performance, does it?
That’s where apple cider vinegar comes in!
Naturopaths and practitioners of ‘liver cleansing’ believe that the combination of apple cider vinegar’s probiotics, vitamins and minerals help support the liver in getting rid of wastes efficiently.
ACV also has alkalizing abilites that keep the body’s pH levels from becoming too acidic. Too much acidity in the body encourages inflammation and sickness.
The easiest way to make your liver happy is by making a liver cleanse drink with apple cider vinegar.
Here’s the recipe!
