DIY Hibiscus Rose Toner
This DIY hibiscus rose toner helps tighten your skin, minimize large pores, control excess sebum, hydrate skin and gives it a youthful glow.
Here’s what you’ll need to make it! It’s super easy!
What You Need
- 1 cup distilled water (where to get it)
- ¼ cup fresh rose petals or dried rose petals (where to get it)
- ¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers (where to get it)
- 1 tbsp aloe vera gel (where to get it)
- 4 oz glass spray bottle (where to get it)
- Small funnel for transferring
- Measuring cups (where to get it)
- Measuring spoons (where to get it)
- Pyrex measuring cup (where to get it)
- Plastic fine-mesh strainer (where to get it)
- Stainless steel pan (where to get it)
- Induction stove (where to get it)
Directions
- Begin by plucking petals from fresh organic roses to get ¼ cup.
- Now add 1 cup of distilled water into a stainless-steel pan.
- Set the stove to low heat.
- Add the rose petals and dried hibiscus flowers.
- Bring the pan to a boil for 8 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the deep red solution cool completely.
- Once cooled, strain using a plastic mesh strainer into a Pyrex measuring cup.
- Add 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel and mix well with a spoon.
- Get a glass spray bottle and place a funnel on the opening.
- Slowly pour the solution into the bottle and cap tightly.
- Your DIY hibiscus rose toner is ready!
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
How to Apply
Simply spritz all over your face right after cleansing and drying it. Then apply serum/moisturizer. Use twice a day – once in the morning and once at night.

- Prep your Face. This DIY hibiscus rose toner toner can also be used to prep your skin for makeup, tightening and adding a rosy glow.
