🌹 Rose Essential Oil
Rose essential oil is extracted from fresh rose petals using a process called steam distillation. It was first distilled in ancient Persia. Rose water, is the by-product of rose essential oil and it was first distilled in India.
A wonderful essential oil for skin care, rose is extremely soothing which makes it suited for all skin types. It has balancing properties that regulate the skin’s natural oil production, whether you have dry, oily or combination skin.
What makes it good for scars and dark spots is its homeostatic and cicatrizant properties that speed the rate at which wounds and scars heal.
The homeostatic nature of the oil promotes cell migration to open wounds, enabling clotting to occur faster. Meanwhile, the cicatrizant properties of rose oil ensure that its high antioxidant content rids your skin of toxins that would slow the skin’s healing process. This strengthens the skin’s natural regeneration and cell turnover rate for more effective skin repair.
🌹 Frankincense Essential Oil
Frankincense essential oil is derived from frankincense resin which is collected from the sap of frankincense trees, found in the Middle Eastern countries: Yemen, Oman and African countries: Somalia and Ethiopia.
It works amazing for scars and dark spots because of its anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties. It is likely to improve the skin’s repair process which decreases the chance of scars forming.
Massaging it on already formed scars helps break scar tissue and reduce the appearance of discoloration and scars.
🌹 Carrot Seed Carrier Oil
Carrot seed carrier oil is cold-pressed from wild carrot seeds of the Queen Anne’s Lace plant, scientifically called Daucus carota sativa. It is not obtained from the regular carrots we eat. Meanwhile, carrot seed essential oil is obtained from steam distillation of wild carrot or Daucus carota sativa seeds.
What makes it good for scars and dark spots is its skin rejuvenating properties. Its known to repair damaged and scarred skin.
Carrot seed oil moisturizes skin and fades scars and discolorations.

It balances sebum production in the skin, which makes it beneficial for both dry and oily skin types.
With its light texture, it easily absorbs into the skin.
Research shows that jojoba oil encourages skin cells to bind together after they’ve been separated by a scratch or cut. This may due to its significant Vitamin E content.
These would healing effects are good for treating acne and repairing scars.
