Hello natural beauties! Today’s post is this amazing DIY coffee scrub for smooth and glowing skin! You have got to add it to your self-care routine at least once a week because it really gives tired-looking skin the wake up boost it needs!
4 Benefits of Using a DIY Coffee Scrub
1. Exfoliates Skin
Ground coffee and brown sugar have a slight abrasive texture that help to slough off dead cells and grime, on top of the skin and from within skin pores.
Brown sugar also contains glycolic acid that has a gentle exfoliating action.
By exfoliating the skin, a coffee scrub helps reveal new soft and smooth skin underneath. This smooth skin is a perfect base for applying skin care and makeup.
2. Perks Up Dull Skin
Gently scrubbing a coffee scrub on your skin can wash away the signs of skin fatigue. If your skin is looking dull and tired, scrub away! It will become perky in no time!
3. Reduces Cellulite
Research shows that caffeine and its derivatives are used in anticellulite skin care due to their lipolytic activity on fatty cells. This means it reduces the appearance of cellulite when used consistently. This is great news because this DIY coffee scrub contains a lot of caffeine!
4. Tightens Skin
Caffeine in coffee has astringent and diuretic effects that help skin appear taut and tight. This is amazing for those who want their skin to look youthful!
