Directions
- Sterilize a 4 oz amber glass dropper bottle. Choose an amber colored bottle because this blocks out UV light that can make your serum expire faster.
- Once sterilized (you can do this by boiling it in water for a couple of minutes), let it dry fully before adding all the essential oils, drop by drop.
- Next, use a small funnel to transfer the jojoba and grapeseed oil.
- Replace the cap on the bottle and gently swirl it to combine the oils without creating air bubbles. Air bubbles contain oxygen that can make the serum oxidize faster.
- Store in a cool dry and dark place.
How to Use
There are many ways to apply this hair serum including hot oil treatment, overnight application and more. But the easiest is using it before a shower:
- Using the dropper, place drops all over your scalp, after sectioning your hair.
- Now using your finger pads, gently massage the oil into your scalp. Focus on rubbing all areas of your scalp.
- Apply a few drops on your hair length and ends.
- Now tie up your hair into a bun or use a crocodile clip and cover it with a shower cap.
- Leave the cap on for at least 1-2 hours.
- When the time is up, wash your hair thoroughly with a natural sulfate-free hair growth shampoo. You can shampoo your hair twice to get rid of all oils.
- Use a non-fluffy towel to wrap your hair after washing it. Fluffy towels can lead to hair breakage and shedding.
